The No.4 track of original soundtrack of The Accountant has fully presented a famous saying from the

The leading actor Christian Wolff (played by Ben Affleck) was invited to check the accounting records for the past 15 years in a life robotics production company. He and the leading actress finished their own lunch outside and then entered a room for the examination alone.

He first put six black pens on the right side of the table, and six red ones on the left side. Then, he started to look over boxes of accounting books prepared by the leading actress. The transaction items through years were written over through the white board and the floor-to-ceiling window, which presented his superior mathematics logic and calculation skills.

This scene was showed with the No.4 track. You can also check it out at the 10th to 13th second in the movie trailer. Remember that when you watch this film and it gets to this scene, please enjoy the excitement.

The No.4 track in the original soundtrack has the same name as the movie The Accountant. The music gives a bright feeling. However, one single tone in the melody kept repeating the same beat. The key kept knocking the same spot.

Please try to hear it. It started from 0’30” to 1’10”, and than after a 10-second break, it started again from 1’20”. It went up to the higher tone at 1’40” and another one up at 1’45”.

During the whole song, the single tone revealed the personality of autism – dull, mechanic, repeated and extremely constrained – and was fully integrated into the beautiful, successful and hopeful melody. Just like a famous saying from the financial giant, George Soros: “There’s no such thing as mental illness. It’s just been misplaced at the wrong position.”

No.4 track at the soundtrack of The Accountant cannot be found on YouTube. You can find it on streaming music platforms such as iTunes and Spotify (which require membership and Spotify Premium), or buy the soundtrack CD.
